Dedicated and Skid-steer mounted forestry mulchers are far less labor intensive then traditional tree removal and clearing methods. Rather then needing both a chipper/grinder and a crew to load and operate it for clearing projects; Mulchers produce high quality chips while only requiring a single operator which translates to saving for the client. 

Although "land clearing" doesn't strike most as eco-friendly, there has been several proven benefits to forestry mulching over traditional clearing methods. The bi-product of forestry mulching adds nutrients and helps balance pH levels of the soil all while preventing wash-outs and soil erosion. Another benefit created by the mulch bed is decreased foliage growth and increased maintenance intervals making your dollar go further.

Although terrain, size and density of the area to be mulched impacts effectiveness; in general forestry mulching is the most effective clearing methods without having to transport cumbersome equipment to the location of the clearing. With most one acre jobs taking 1.5-3hrs to reduce vegetation, stumps and hardwoods to fine chips.
